Eskay Lala has emerged from
the cocoon to release his latest work, Mizkololo. Eskay, who released his works
under his own record label- White Gold Entertainment, had walked the length and breadth of the music
industry in order to have his hip-hop Fuji music recorded and released. All his effort yields nothing but anguish and
disappointment as he moved from one record label to another without getting to
release a song. Now, he has release a four track album which have title such as Mizkololo, Sexy Lady, Omo Mummy and Oti Nsele.
CM met the artist at his Manager’s
resident in Bariga; Sikiru Olarewaju AKA Eskay Lala recalled his tortuous musical
journey. His musical journey had taken him across Lagos state – Ikeja, Mushin
and Magbodo in search of a record label. He was in the musical sea waiting for
a tide that will take him to the spot light from the days of the raising stars
such as Chanko Rasheed, Omo Olope, Wale Teckoma, Tony Tatullar and even Da
Grin. But, he continuously missed the tide. Now, he is creating his own tide.
He was a regular face at the
DTD beach show. A family talent show aired on Sundays on selected TV stations.
At that time, the Music Industry was showing much promise with likes of Tony
Tatular, Plantation Boys, Lagbaja and a whole lot of others. So, Eskay and his
crew were riding the waves of various shows with the stars of the day.
With the released of his new
works, he is set to rock the music scene with his Fuji hip hop style. The Oworo
base artist will soon revealed his collaboration plan with top artists in the
music industry.
